Rock Wool Sheathing
Stone wool is made from basalt, an inorganic raw material, which is obtained domestically. It is produced through heating basalt at 1350˚C – 1400˚C and transforming it into fibres. It can be manufactured in the forms of blanket, board, pipe or loose in different size and with different technical properties, with different facing materials according to the intented use and the place of use. It is used for thermal insulation, sound insulation, acoustic comfort as well as fire safety.

It can be manufactured in the forms of blanket, board, pipe or loose in different size and with different technical properties, with different facing materials according to the intented use and the place of use. It is used for thermal insulation, sound insulation, acoustic comfort as well as fire safety. Izocam Stone Wool Products certified by EUCEB according to conformity of mineral wool fibres with note Q of regulation (EC) no 1272/2008. Its declared thermal conductivity is 0,035 ≤ λ ≤ 0,040 W/mK. (at 10˚C) Depending on the declared thermal conductivity values, Izocam Stone Wool products are in the thermal conductivity groups of 035 and 040. Water vapour diffusion resistance factor μ = 1. Depending on the product type, the temperature of use is between -50/+650˚C. Melting temperature > 1000˚C. Even if it is subjected to heat and humidity it stays dimensionally stable.

It is rot proof and resistant to aging. It does not corrode, decompose or allow mold formation. They are resistant against insects and microorganisms. It is not hygroscopic and capillary.

Exterior Wall Repairs, Restoration and Maintenance
Metcom Group can provide many aspects of exterior wall repairs and restoration, from repairs to an existing surface, to completely renewing a surface such as re-rendering an entire elevation or a whole property.

When restoring these surfaces it is important to try and blend in any patch repairs with the surrounding surfaces so that at the end of the job there is an attractive and uniform finish. This can be difficult to achieve and we often inspect properties where surface repairs have been badly carried out over the years and they look like a hotchpotch of different surface textures and repair marks. Our applicators are used to doing these sorts of repairs and are therefore well practiced and skilled at blending in patch repairs. We always strive to achieve invisible exterior render repairs and utilising a textured wall coating system can further help to conceal repairs and achieve a uniform, low maintenance exterior.

Exterior Painting
Never underestimate the impact a fresh, clean coat of paint can make to the outside of your home! It doesn’t matter if we’re working with stucco, brick, wood siding, vinyl, cedar shingles, or wood trim. Metcom Group’s expert exterior house painters have years of experience painting every kind of outdoor material: Wood, Composite, Vinyl and Aluminum Siding, Fascia and Eavestrough, Stucco, Decks, Patios and Railings.

Transparent Spider System
Transparent - planar or spider facade system is mainly used in the places like showrooms, entrance canopies, display windows and other places where transparency is important. Glass is drilled on four corners and using stainless steel studs, is mechanically fastened to the supporting steel structure. Vertical and horizontal joints are sealed with UV resistant silicons in this system.
